We take time to explain your options so you can make an informed decision.
During cataract surgery, your cloudy lens is replaced with a clear intraocular lens (IOL). After precise scans, your surgeon recommends the safest option for your eyes and lifestyle.
Provides clear vision at a single, pre-selected distance (usually distance). Glasses are typically needed for other distances.
Typical results: rapid visual improvement within days.
Driving: many patients resume within a few days (your surgeon will advise).
Advanced lenses designed to reduce glasses dependence across distances.
Recovery: similar recovery time to monofocal lenses.
Expectations: your surgeon will discuss trade-offs and ideal candidacy.
Astigmatism-correcting IOL engineered to neutralise uneven corneal curvature for sharper vision.
Planning: exact alignment discussed and confirmed by your surgeon.
Recovery: same recovery pattern as other IOLs.
Your clouded lens is carefully removed and replaced with a custom IOL. Surgery typically takes ~10 minutes per eye and is performed as a day procedure under local anaesthetic with gentle sedation.
Goal: restore clear vision with a lens tailored to your measurements and lifestyle.
Meet our friendly clinical team for a detailed eye exam and cataract diagnosis. We assess your vision, lens clarity, and overall eye health to determine the best course of treatment.
Based on your assessment, we’ll create a customised treatment plan. You’ll meet your specialist surgeon to review your results and choose the right intraocular lens (IOL) option based on your vision goals and lifestyle.
Your cataract surgery is performed using precise, modern techniques. Most patients notice significantly improved vision and quality of life in the days that follow.
