• LASIK laser eye surgery: $6,160.00 for both eyes 
• PRK: $2,420.00 for one eye and $5,060.00 for both
• PTK: Medicare covers a portion of the procedure with a $400.00 GAP

These costs are comprehensive and include the initial appointment, further testing at a second appointment, the laser procedure and follow-up care. LASIK laser eye surgery and PRK are vision correction procedures that reshape the curvature of your cornea to correct your eyesight and achieve clear vision. PTK is a different procedure that does not provide vision correction but addresses cornea damage from eye conditions or injuries such as REES, granular dystrophy, surface irregularities and corneal scars. PTK is eligible for Medicare coverage because it is medically necessary.
